Colonel by arriving to the Fort Marshall's Base, Michael is promoted to the rank of Major General when preceding him managing of the base has a heart attack and is forced to retire.
Michael is the husband of Claudia Joy since more eighteen the years. He met her in Harvard where they studied there. They travelled a lot on all the planet. After the death of their daughter Amanda, Michael will accept a post in Europe, in Brussels, in the office of the NATO. But the rise of teenagers of his most girl, the difficulties which will have Claudia Joy to get up of the drama of the loss of his elder daughter and especially their absence in both, will make him return to the Fort Marshall's Base.
He got closer gradually of his most girl after she forgot the young soldier who was his boyfriend and who pulled him in the adventures.
Michael is the godfather of the girl of Joan and Roland, Sara Elizabeth.
He likes sin and hunt, whom he cannot have a practice enough to his taste, and the American cars.
Michael is arrested in Afghanistan in Aout on 2010, but he will return in the country to attend the graduation ceremony for his daughter Emmalin.

Après la mort de leur fille Amanda, Michael acceptera un poste en Europe, à Bruxelles, au siège de l'OTAN. Mais la rise d'adolescence de sa plus jeune fille, les difficultés qu'aura Claudia Joy pour se relever du drame de la perte de sa fille aînée et surtout leur absence à toutes les deux, le fera revenir à Fort Marshall.
Il se rapprocha progressivement de sa plus jeune fille après qu'elle ai oublié le jeune soldat qui était son petit ami et qui l'a entraîné dans ses aventures.
Michael est le parrain de la fille de Joan et Roland, Sara Elizabeth.
Il aime la pèche et la chasse, qu'il ne peut pas pratiquer assez à son goût, et les voitures américaines.
Michael est fait prisonnier en Afghanistan en Aout 2010, mais il rentrera au pays pour assister à la remise de diplôme de sa fille Emmalin.
